I firstly bought the powder because my broad beans were just covered in ants. I shook the container a couple of times, removed the lid and drenched the affected broad bean with the powder — the next morning the plant was ant free, it was as though there never had been any ants there in the first place — just amazing. Then I spotted ants in my greenhouse, put a liberal dressing of powder down — next morning they were all gone. I then tried the liquid which lets them return to the ant nest and spreads the active ingredient inside. Personally I think you need the powder AND the liquid to give a two-pronged attack. 5 stars all day long from me.
